This authentic blend of robust gourmet chai spices isn't just a "tea drink", it's a sensory experience that stimulates your tastebuds and spices up your mornings.
WHAT IS IT?
Organo™ Rodeo Chai combines the spices and flavors of India into a flavorful cup of tea. Add milk and sugar or sweeteners to taste, and enjoy this exotic and flavorful cup hot or cold.
Black Tea – Tea is the most consumed beverage in the world after water. Studies show that as little as 3 cups of black tea per day can have benefits, including supporting a healthy heart and other functions due to the types of antioxidants found in tea.
Ginger – Aromatic, pungent and spicy, ginger adds a special flavor and zest to Rodea Chai. Ginger is mentioned in ancient Chinese, Indian and Middle Eastern writings, and has long been prized for its aromatic, culinary and flavorful properties.
Cinnamon – Cinnamon is a spice that is made from the inner bark of trees called Cinnamomum. It has been used as an ingredient throughout history, dating back as far as Ancient Egypt. It was so highly regarded in ancient civilization, and was considered to be so rare and valuable, it was regarded as a gift fit for kings. It is a highly delicious spice, adding a warm and familiar note to Rodeo Chai Tea.
Ganoderma lucidum – also known as the red Reishi mushroom, this mild flavor adds a note of depth to the coffee flavor and brings it’s own benefits. Ganoderma mushrooms provide triterpenoids and amino acids. Ganoderma mushrooms are ‘adaptogens’.
Ganoderma lucidum has been used in traditional Asian culture for thousands of years. The name Ganoderma lucidum means “spiritual potency”, while the Japanese name Reishi can be translated as “King of Herbs”.
DID YOU KNOW?
Black tea is made from the leaves of a bush called Camellia sinensis. A process called oxidation turns the leaves from green to a dark brownish-black color. Oxidation means the leaves are exposed to moist, oxygen-rich air. Much of the world’s tea is grown in mountainous areas 3,000 – 7,000 feet above sea level. Leading tea-producing countries include Argentina, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kenya, Malawi, Sri Lanka, Tanzania and Taiwan.
